Screaming for Ice Cream:: Preview of the Cusinart Pure Indulgence

July 14, 2009

When CSN Stores e-mailed me and told me I could review any product on their site (within reason, I originally wanted the $1200 massaging office chair-ha!), I thought long and hard about my choice—would it be the Kit Kat Clock or the vintage-looking Crosley CD alarm clock or the wooden wall telephone?  As it turns out, it was none of those because I found an ice cream maker and not just any ice cream maker—it was the Cusinart Pure Indulgence.  As a preface to the review, which will be coming in a few weeks, the fine folks at CSN provided me with this expert information about the product!

“Heaven on earth, absolute bliss, and flavorful deliciousness; those are a few ways to describe the amazing ice cream that the Cuisinart Pure Indulgence produces.  There is something brilliant about an ice cream maker that requires just 25 minutes to create “ice cream stand” quality frozen yogurt, in the comfort of your home. The Cuisinart Pure indulgence allows you to handle other tasks while it quietly creates an ice cream or frozen yogurt treat that is perfectly prepared; just add the ingredients, wait 25 minutes, and you have tasty ice cream. How does it work, you ask? With the combination of its integrated motor, double-insulated freezer bowl, and automatic mixing paddle, the Pure Indulgence creates consistent, flavorful ice cream, saving you a trip to the ice cream stand and subsequently, money out of your wallet. For years, Cuisinart has been a leader in grill accessories and cooking appliances; their success has been attributed to their emphasis on creating a quality product at a reasonable cost to the average homeowner. The Pure indulgence is no exception to the overall mission of Cuisinart, which is to make your life easier by producing durable, practical and affordable appliances. The Cuisinart Pure Indulgence can be found at everyicecreammaker.com, a part of CSN Stores, a leader in cookware, office furniture, case goods, and baby furniture.”
