Apparently MySpace isn’t just for social networking (or as I like to call it “a place to get friend requests from scantily clad teen girls”), it’s also a place to get dates. And Katherine Lester, 18, went on one heck of a date last year when she flew from her home in Michigan to be with her Palestinian boyfriend Abdullah Jinzawi.
Since Abdullah skipped all the American formalities of taking a girl out on a date, like meeting the parents or living in the same continent, naturally the Lesters were a bit angry. Katherine was brought back to the states. However, according to this article, the couple’s MySpace romance ended recently when Katherine dumped Abdullah on “Dr. Phil” via satellite link. And people wonder why I think Dr. Phil makes a mockery out of psychology and counseling.
Both Katherine and Abdullah are doing fine and are accepting friend requests from single guys and girls all over the world. Katherine’s willing to travel.

well i really didn’t hear about this story till this week when they were showing some commercials about a program that’s gonna tlk about… well i met my husband on my space and he was welling to travel all the way to africa to marry me and i really think that u really like to do just a lot of ado about nothing it’s her life and she is free with it… she is 18 we all fall in love and we might all make mistakes and learn from our mistakes guess that’s what mistakes were made for
